Founded in 1906 in Norway, Maine, Tubbs Snowshoes is the leading manufacturer of lightweight, versatile snowshoes for men, women and children. Now based in Seattle, Washington, in the shadow of the always-snowy 14,400 ft Mt. Rainier, Tubbs continues to lead the snowshoeing industry through a deep understanding of the sport and constant technological innovation. From Admiral Byrd's famed expedition to Antartica, to modern day adventure racing, Tubbs manufactures snowshoes for all types of terrain and snow conditions. With over 25 patents issued and pending, Tubbs continues to raise the bar for efficient, comfortable and innovative snowshoe designs.

The first company to manufacture women's-specific snowshoes in 1998, Tubbs is dedicated to the diverse needs of men and women alike. From the national Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer® series, which has raised nearly $1 Million for Susan G.
